AESTHETICS

Narrow – line flush glazing door and enclosure sections.

Collapsing mechanism and speed controller concealed – sealed against ingress of water or salt solution.

Ass fastenings concealed –

            snap-on glass stops throughout.

STANDARD AND CUSTOM MODELS

Standard aluminum models 7'-0" heights (2134 mm height).  Custom models fabricated to specific requirements, in aluminum, stainless steel and bronze. 

HEAVY DUTY EXTRUSIONS

Door wing sections feature 3/8" wall (9 mm wall) thickness to ensure frame rigidity and high impact resistance. 

EMERGENCY EGRESS

Revolving door wings fold into bookfold position under panic loading conditions.  Collapsing pressure factory set for specific design condition, depending on door size and wind loading conditions. 

SERVICEABILITY

Door wings easily removed, providing rapid access to speed controller.  Down
time minimal.  Maintenance contract available to ensure long service life.

SELECTION CONSIDERATIONS

1. Use larger diameter doors where practical

                 -consider 7'-0" diameter (2134 mm diam. optimum)
                 -6'-6" diameter  (1981 mm diam. minimum)

2. Custom push bars must permit bookleaf fold function.

3. Consider standard size doors when early delivery is important – same quality workmanship throughout.

CODE CONFORMITY

Conforms to National Building Code of Canada requirements for egress purposes.  One half exit unit permitted for each revolving door.

• continuous Revolving operation at various fixed speed

• Power Assist Revolution – Stopping once every revolution

NOTE :

Excessive external wind gusts may cause automatic door to revolve more than once before coming to a complete dead stop. 

Features of Power Operated Doors :

·        Greater ease of egress/ingress on usage of large and heavier doors.

MANUAL MODEL

Provides internal hydraulic resistance when doors in motion.  Resistance force gradually increases up to maximum 12 rpm speed.  Slow-down is gradual – doors stop in random position.
