  Portronik has installed a computerized security and access control system at pharmaceutical company Astra Pharma's research center in Ville St-Laurent. Astra Pharma is actually projecting, over the next few years, Canadian investments that will total several million dollars.

  Pharmaceutical research centers demand a very high security level, and it is for this reason that Astra Pharma chose a system based on the reading of computerized cards. Portronik also installed a complete camera-based surveillance system, both inside and outside of Astra Pharma's facility.

  At the building's primary entryway, a revolving door of top architectural quality, manufactured by C.J.RUSH, was installed, while for the photo lab, the choice rested on a three way CONSOLIDATED INTERNATIONAL darkroom revolving door.

Astra Pharma, a company whose origins lie in Sweden, carries out cutting edge research in the field of pain; when making a choice with regards to security materials, the company remained true to its image and opted for the best products available on the market.

  The main entrance boasts a high security C.J.RUSH glass revolving door, controlled by proximity type card readers and with a similar configuration to the illustration below.
